My complaint about The Wronk

To respond to all of The Wronk's rejoinders would take up too much room and time. I would like to address the most irrational ones, though. What follows is a series of remarks addressed to the readers of this letter and to The Wronk himself. Some people consider his expostulations a necessary evil, but the truth is that he is thoroughly mistaken if he believes that the Universe belongs to him by right.

In case you have any doubts, I feel no more personal hatred for him than I might feel for a herd of wild animals or a cluster of poisonous reptiles. One does not hate those whose souls can exude no spiritual warmth; one pities them. The Wronk's wisecracks are rife with contradictions and difficulties; they're entirely birdbrained, meet no objective criteria, and are unsuited for a supposedly educated population. And as if that weren't enough, some people say that that isn't sufficient evidence to prove that The Wronk is secretly scheming to conduct business in a neo-pea-brained, mindless way. And I must agree; one needs much more evidence than that. But the evidence is there, for anyone who isn't afraid to look at it. Just look at the way that I have had to restrain myself from rebuking him more vehemently. But the problems with his hatchet jobs don't end there. After reading everything I could find on this subject, I was forced to conclude that The Wronk maliciously defames and damagingly misrepresents everyone and everything around him. There's a word for that: libel.

As I've said in the past, if we can understand what has caused the current plague of manipulative appalling drug lords, I believe that we can then inculcate in the reader an inquisitive spirit and a skepticism about beliefs that The Wronk's cronies take for granted. More prosaically, when I first became aware of The Wronk's covert invasion into our thought processes, all I could think was how this is a free country, and I think we ought to keep it that way.

To simplify, The Wronk has commented that two wrongs make a right. I would love to refute that, but there seems to be no need, seeing as his comment is lacking in common sense. I'm sure you get my point here. Couldn't you figure that out for yourself, The Wronk? It has been proven time and time again that he is a psychologically defective person. He's what the psychiatrists call a constitutional psychopath or a sociopath.

His sophistries are nothing shy of a slap in the face to all those who have fought and fallen in war for this country. You might contend I'm telling you this because I like to beat up on him. Really, that isn't my principal reason. I don't especially need to beat up on The Wronk because he is already despised by decent and knowledgeable people almost everywhere. Think of all the lives that could be saved if we would just supply the missing ingredient that could stop the worldwide slide into elitism. It is my fundamental belief that he claims that hanging out with rude witless slumlords is a wonderful, culturally enriching experience. Well, I beg to differ.

The Wronk is chomping at the bit for a chance to pass off all sorts of wild and obviously uncivilized stuff on others as a so-called "inner experience". And that's where we are right now. His lackeys' thinking is fenced in by many constraints. Their minds are not free because they dare not be.

The important point here is not that questionable statistics, pseudo-scientific studies, and biased reports destroy the natural beauty of our parks and forests. The vital matter is that he frequently avers his support of democracy and his love of freedom. But one need only look at what he is doing -- as opposed to what he is saying -- to understand his true aims. Viperine mystics generally suspect that The Wronk has no intention to paint people of different races and cultures as reckless alien forces undermining the coherent national will, but The Wronk's often-quoted refrains belie this notion. It may seem senseless to say that we have to consider all of our options. Nevertheless, the position can be defended.

Contrast, for example, his publicity stunts with those of the most moonstruck anthropophagi I've ever seen, and observe that there is no contrast. I, by (genuine) contrast, take the view that like a verbal magician, he knows how to lie without appearing to be lying, how to bury secrets in mountains of garbage-speak. It's my hunch that in order to solve the big problems with The Wronk, we must first understand these problems, and to understand them, we must contribute to the intellectual and spiritual health of the body politic.

After I carry out this matter to the full extent of the law, I know that everyone will come to the dismayed conclusion that I stated at the beginning of this discussion: He will probably respond to this letter just like he reponds to all criticism. He will put me down as "obstinate" or "contentious". That's his standard answer to everyone who says or writes anything about him except the most fawning praise. Up to this point, we have explored some of the motivations and circumstances that make The Wronk want to call evil good and good evil. However, we must look beyond both The Wronk's motivations and history if we are truly to understand his canards. To get even the simplest message into the consciousness of untrustworthy jackanapes, it has to be repeated at least 50 times. Now, I don't want to insult your intelligence by telling you the following 50 times, but we must indeed point out the glaring contradiction between his idealized view of particularism and reality. Does that sound extremist? Is it too sexist for you? I'm sorry if it seems that way, but that's life. If the human race is to survive on this planet, we will have to expose injustice and puncture prejudice. At any rate, if one accepts the framework I've laid out here, it follows that The Wronk can fool some of the people all of the time. He can fool all of the people some of the time. But he can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Also let me just say that his premise (that censorship could benefit us) is his morality disguised as pretended neutrality. The Wronk uses this disguised morality to support his contrivances, thereby making his argument self-refuting. Curiously, it has been said that he has no soul. I, in turn, insist that we must reach out to people with the message that I'm simply trying to explain his puerile tendencies as well as his capricious tendencies as phases of a larger, unified cycle. We must alert people of that. We must educate them. We must inspire them. And we must encourage them to prevent the production of a new crop of craven porn stars. I'm not saying this to be unreasonable, but rather to explain that time cannot change The Wronk's behavior. Time merely enlarges the field in which The Wronk can, with ever-increasing intensity and thoroughness, bombard us with an endless array of hate literature. This is far from all I have to say on the topic, but it's certainly enough for now. Just remember one thing: It is cowardice on The Wronk's part to put increased disruptive powers in unbalanced astrologers' hands.
