My Computers

Cyrus (a.k.a. The Machine Under My Bed)

This system has ran Windows 4.00.98, WindowsNT 4.0 Workstation, and WindowsNT 4.0 Server -- as well as several flavors of GNU/Linux. This machine's current condition is unknown -- though it is supposed to have some flavor of GNU/Linux on it. It earned its sobrique because it was running underneath my bed for the first semester of my sophomore year at RPI (until my sister pleaded for it . . . and didn't do anything with it :-/ )

This was one of those computers that we just got that nobody in particular was going to use. It was supposed to be a cheap (it was rather cheap, as you an tell by what's in it) machine for a home network. It's filled several roles throuhout its life, but that's what it was for a while.
