AMY (a.k.a. ent, The Wronk)

Amy is now dead. A squirrel caused us to lose power shortly before Christmas break, 20001. Below was the text which used to be here:

This system had been my main desktop for several years (since 1998). It has, of course, benefitted from several upgrades over the years, some exchanges of parts, et al. For the most part, it has run a dual-boot between Windows 4.00.98 and GNU/Linux. It is now a Slackware beaut, with several upgrades of course -- like kernel 2.4.

The name had to be changed from "Amy" to "ent" because of a naming conflict on the college network. If you ever talk to The Wronk on AIM, this is the computer the client is running--hence, some have taken to using that as its moniker. AMY is now my webserver as Berkley doesn't have a processor...
