I miss my calculator; trusty old Texas Instruments calculators. Starting with the TI-85 and moving on to the TI-89 when the former no longer suited my needs*. More recently I've replaced it again with a Nintendo DS which surprisingly serves much the same purpose as the calculator had in high school.
Like those calculators, it's approaching the time when I'll finally abandon this web log and a few other features I've hacked into my site over the last seven years of being on an Apache/PHP system. Most of these have been rewritten and will hopefully be better.
I'm setting a hopefully conservative date of March** when the wiki and web log are retired and I won't be maintaining them any longer. At that point I'll see about redirecting the ATOM and RSS feeds, but it's probably a better idea to just keep watch and update them yourself.
I have a feeling this site might look much more minimal in a year's time.
*It "vanished" one day after a classmate borrowed it. Probably sacrificed to the elusive Rudy, eh?
**Assuming my laptop's power cable doesn't light my laptop on fire like it did in Italy.
